Winter
Most of us, when we think of winter, think of weather--snow, sleet, hail, slippery sidewalks and sanded or salted roads. The first snow is a precious one, drawing us outside to marvel at a thin layer of ice forming on a pond or river, a frosted spider web or foraging deer. The coldest days don't come until after the winter solstice--the shortest day of the year that falls on or about December 21 in the Northern Hemisphere. The following stock photos are by a variety of AGPix photographers.
